Roosevelt Paper Adds Second Kmec Sheeter

KNOXVILLE, TN | Kmec USA has installed a second twin synchronous knife folio sheeter at Roosevelt Paper Co. Both machines are Model KMC 165 from the Dreamcut range and are 65 in. wide, complete with six shaftless floor pickup unwinds with 72 in. maximum unwind capacity and a sheet length cutoff range of 16-63 in.

Bill Baltrusaitis, operations manager, says, “Based on the success of the first machine, we had no hesitation in ordering a second machine. …The experience with Kmec exceeded our expectations.”

The Label CS from Kmec offers the complete solution in the production of small formats such as paper and plastic labels, ink jet photo papers and alike. The Label CS produces counted strip stacks directly from the reel in one process, consequently eliminating many of those costly and labour intensive steps associated with the traditional methods.
As a result the Label CS offers higher efficiency and productivity with less waste, contributing to a rapid return on investment.
